Friday Bright Spots

Students in Ms. Wininger's classroom creating cells using jello molds and candy shapes.
Class Emojis from Mrs. Nocera:  students use these cards for a variety of purposes, such as to show their understanding of current work, express their like (or dislike) of a current reading.

Check out the new Club/Activity listing done by our Service Hall Study Hall to let students know when each club will meet.

Sorting formative assessment from Mrs. Saleski:  students are sorting statements about angles
Check out these videos of our band at the Big E:  http://www.wfsb.com/clip/11867562/channel-3-heads-to-the-big-e and https://youtu.be/anFVcCPGfFM

Mr. Keleher was also at the Big E on CT Day and forwarded me pictures of his favorite school (despite now being the principal of East Windsor High)!

Check out the design of this review activity from Mrs. Nocera:  Students  participate in a "quiz-like" activity where they attempt to fill in the blank of sentences using their vocabulary words.  After correcting their own work, they identify the words with which they feel most comfortable and those that they need to study more.
This is a picture from 2014, but our students are out supporting our community again this year, volunteering with TOPSoccer.
