Reminders
Looking for a freshmen nomination for student of the month~please nominate a freshman by Wednesday. Enter your nominations for students of the month here.Goal-setting meetings: The district has extended the deadline for goals to be entered into Bloomboard to October 31st. We are expecting the Office of Teaching and Learning to send out some clarification regarding goals, specifically IAGDs around AP and CAPT. We'll share any information we receive with you. We as a team are going to keep our meetings as scheduled so that we'll have time to meet with all of our teachers and make any necessary revisions prior to the due date. We're going to ask that all Bloomboard goals be entered into the system by October 21 so that we'll have time to review your work and suggest revisions with time for us to approve them by October 31st.
BE Life Lectures: As you know an 84 minute study hall is an awfully long time for some of our students. We were thinking that we might be able to insert some inspiration into study halls by offering students the opportunity to watch inspiring videos or lectures (ala TED) in the auditorium. We'll build the schedule and announce it to students. What we need from you: 1) Do you know of any inspirational videos or TED talks you think our students would be interested in? 2) Do you know a former Lancer who might be interested in presenting his or her life lessons? 3) Would you be willing to volunteer to supervise a session or two? Send Mike, Debbie, or Carly an email if interested
