Reminder:  As we head deeper into this spring season, the building is rented out most evenings.  Please help us ensure the security of our building by locking your doors each day.  Doors need to be locked but can be open throughout the day.  Before you leave, check to be sure your door is closed and locked.


Adopt a Child Back to School.  Please make sure our counselors know the names of students who might benefit from the United Way "Adopt a Child Back to School" program.  The deadline for submission is June 3rd.

Follow up on blocking websites:  I've contacted Rob Puzio about blocking certain sites from our wi-fi, such as Instagram and Snapchat.  It looks like we may be able to do so from all Chromebooks/laptops.  We're exploring an option for phones as well.

Professional Time

This Wednesday, we'll have Instructional Data Team time.   Your instructional data team self-evaluation will be discussed at your end of year evaluation conference.  Your team may want to use time in this meeting to complete the rubric. The process and links to all evaluation documents are listed below under News.  Freshmen teams will be visiting the middle schools this week and next Wednesday for the purpose of learning more about our incoming students from their current teachers.

Unity Circle Project.  This is the start of the unity circle project just beginning at Adult Education.  We'll have the Unity Circle here beginning Wednesday.  It will be here for just one week before it taken down on Tuesday, May 16th.  Sign up to bring your classes using this spreadsheet.

Congratulations to Barbara Kaminski.  Barbara is being recognized by the Board of Education with a Staff Achievement Award for her work on BE and Beyond and Lancer Nation.
 
Bristol Public Schools Newsletter.  Please consider submitting an article for the BPS Newsletter.  Kelly Lynne Thibodeau is compiling all the articles we're sending from our school.
 
Planning for next year????  Forms Day, Freshmen Orientation, Senior College Fair and/or Financial Reality Fair.

 It's hard to believe but we need to begin planning for a few events that occur next year.  One event we'll be discussing is the summer Forms day and the freshmen orientation that usually occurs that evening.  If you would like input on either of those days, please contact Mr. HIggins.

Teachers who may be interested in working with seniors on PSAT day should look out for an upcoming meeting to discuss options for seniors on that day.  We're hoping to provide a college/career fair OR a financial reality fair where your support will definitely be needed.
