Recommendations Reminder: As you are aware, course selection will be starting in a few short weeks. Those who are teaching semester 1 courses have the opportunity to make course recommendations for their current students now. Course recommendations are entered in Powerschool through the recommendations tab. Each recommendation must be entered individually for each student. Please remember this is a great way to promote course enrollment for students. Students can see your recommendation in BOLD when they are logging in to make their course selections.
Midterm performance: We'd like to recognize our students demonstrate superb performance on their midterms in a special way. Please email Carly the name of any student who achieves a score of 93 or better on their midterm exams.
Reminder: Please be sure when sending students out of class to provide them with a pass or sign their planner. It is a good practice also to have students sign out of your class in a log so that should an issue arise, you have a record of who was out of your classroom at a particular date and time.
Tardy slip interruptions: We are seeking a way to limit interruptions to your classes. We know that distribution of tardy slips does interrupt your second block class. We are looking to develop a way to automate notification of tardies to students and families through email. Please know that we are working on this while continuing to address tardy behavior in our current fashion.
