Wednesday Meeting

2. Guidance counselors: Please be sure to give Erin the number of groups you've run and the number of students you've seen in groups.

The School Leadership Team will be meeting during this time to review quarter one units and provide feedback.

Reminders and Due Dates:
This Wednesday's Admin/Guidance meeting will focus on students at risk. If you have concerns about any of your students, please email their counselor this week.You will recall that each of the candidates in the Hunger Games were “sponsored” by their class. The winning class will be invited to view the Hunger Games in the Auditorium next Friday, November 21. The movie will take the first two blocks. You can choose to stay with your class or not. Mrs. Kenney will be able to let us know on Tuesday next week who the winning class will be. We appreciate your flexibility.
Pep Rally Notices:
You'll recall last year that we had to evacuate our building at the start of the pep rally. After learning from that experience, we have made some changes to better enable us to ensure the safety of the students in our school and to celebrate our fall athletic teams accomplishments.
For Safety:
1. We will not be allowing alumni for pep rally.
2. Parents of senior football, cheerleaders, band and booster club members will be the only parents allowed.
3. Teachers can bring their own children or families only if they are accompanied by another adult who could supervise their children in the event of an emergency. Please let me know if you will be bringing family.
For Celebration:
1. All fall sports teams will be recognized.
2. All clubs and groups are encouraged to create our banners that will inspire a BE win on Thanksgiving!
Newsletter: We're not having a monthly newsletter this year, but rather a seasonal one. If you have an item for the winter (Nov-February) newsletter, please email me by January 15.
Student of the Month: I couldn't announce students of the month for October because we only have two nominations. Do not miss this opportunity to recognize those students who have demonstrated our core expectations around responsibility and respect.
