News and announcements
September 11th: September 11th is now recognized as the National Day of Service and Remembrance. This day is the culmination of efforts originally launched in 2002 by the 9/11 nonprofit MyGoodDeed with wide support by the 9/11 community and leading national service organizations. This effort first established the inspiring tradition of engaging in charitable service on 9/11 as an annual and forward looking tribute to the 9/11 victims, survivors, and those who rose up in service in response to the attacks.
On 9/11, please wear red, white and blue.
I'd like to see us get our students involved in recognizing those who are first responders on this day. There are plenty of ways to do this, but we thought we could have interested students put together "treat packages." Donations of lifesavers, starbursts, payday bars (snack size), hershey kisses, gum, tootsie rolls, peppermint patties, and mounds (snack-size) would be greatly appreciated before Friday this week. We'll collect your donations in the administrative office and package them for first responders on Friday throughout the day with volunteers from study halls.
Feedback: Now that the first week has gone by, please share your feedback regarding our professional development sessions on Tuesday, August 25th. Survey available here: https://docs.google.com/a/bristolk12.org/forms/d/1lgb7e9J6HIdMmOcyIZ9raL2znMvP5HbiEdtB6p-4LMA/viewform
