Welcome back!
What a great week of weather last week was! I hope everyone found the much needed rest and relaxation we needed after such a loooooong winter!Professional Meeting time:
This Wednesday will be an Instructional Data Team meeting. At this meeting, we will be working on wrapping up the year in preparation for our end of year evaluation conferences. All data teams should complete the Instructional Data Team Rubric located here: https://docs.google.com/a/bristolk12.org/document/d/1LApUijokamCH9AacJAi6Ra6eA6_0Ram_mtJIYnDkddo/edit?usp=sharing about your instructional data team work this year.
Those instructional data teams who administered common end of unit assessments in quarter three should submit your data using this form: https://docs.google.com/a/bristolk12.org/forms/d/1xqeH13mRzWd8o_V1hIYyvTX7151IzWo90a-i1Fwt3Lw/viewform. If you were not in a data team working toward common end of unit assessments (i.e., guidance, special education, etc.), you should be reviewing your IPGD so that you can gather any end of year data necessary to show the impact of your professional learning.
This Wednesday you'll have advisory planning time, so your data team work can end at 2:50pm. Advisory planning from 2:50-3:20pm.
This Wednesday is an advisory Wednesday.

Upcoming events in May: As you know, there are many exciting events planned for students in May, including Junior Prom on 5/16 and Senior prom on 5/22. Teens in the Drivers' Seat planned numerous events to keep our students focused on their safety and well-being throughout this month. Please consider bringing your students to the following events:
May 6: Living Proof Speaker, 9:15 am, auditorium
May 7: Awareness Day, wellness fair in cafeteria: 9:15-12:30pm
May 11-May 15: Convincer (date to be determined)
May 19: Impact Speaker, 9:30-10:30am, auditorium
May 21: Mock Car Crash (PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THIS WITH STUDENTS), 9:00am
We know that May is also chock-full of testing as well but we felt that it was important to stress to students that they be aware of the potential dangers they could face with each decision they make this spring.
