Staff Bulletin for the Week of March 9

This Wednesday is an Advisory day.

Wednesday Professional Time:  

This Wednesday we will have our regular staff chat from 1:40-2:00pm in the cafeteria sponsored by the Math department.  We will not have a department meeting this week.  We'll briefly review NEASC work from our previous meetings and will discuss our next steps.  Committee work will occur from 2:15-2:45pm.  We'll meet back in the cafeteria again at 2:45pm for our faculty meeting until 3:20pm.

News and Announcements:

Flags:  Teachers, students have been asking administration why some classes do not have flags. You should have a flag displayed in your classroom.  If you need one or need to have the location of your flag moved, please let us know so that we can proudly show our patriotism.

Substitute Request: As you know, headphones in classrooms are at the teachers' discretion. Please explicitly state your classroom policy for substitutes regarding headphones.  Substitutes have been asking for greater clarification from teachers so they can be sure they're following your class expectations.

Student requests:  The requesting window will close on March 9th.  Department chairs will be working on determining the number of sections needed based on student requests this week.

March 18:  Administration will be hosting class meetings for juniors and seniors for half of the period each on March 18th to review expectations going into the end of the year.
